Over my lifetime i have had many achievements. I startedcolonization in the New World that is America today, though it is believed that I was the first European to set foot on the Americas, that is a misconception, for many Europeans throughout history have set foot on this land, like the Vikings. I claimed land for Spain in the southern areas afterwards, and governed there. I also discovered the islands known todays as Jamaica, Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico on one of my voyages.I attempted to reach Asia by taking a westward voyage, but ended up in the americas.
You believed the Earth was round and you proved to everyone that it was just like how I did with my belief about having a heliocentric solar system. If it wasn't for people like us who stuck with their beliefs then the world would be very different than it is today.
